Behind Poland's First TWA Implementation: morele.net
A rapid response to mobile users' needs
PWA audit and tuning
The first step in the cooperation between e-point and Morele was a web performance and PWA audit report, which helped us accurately identify what needed improvement. Using TWA meant that the Morele.net website had to implement the PWA standard at a higher level, as measured by Google’s Lighthouse benchmark. Previously, the site met this standard at 40 percent, which is why a series of enhancements were introduced. The most important addition was the Service Worker, which makes the website’s key functions available when the user goes offline.
For morele.net, adopting TWA as a mobile solution had led to the following wins:
“Such an application can be viewed, installed and rated just like any other application in the marketplace. This new trend arises from the PWA (Progressive Web Apps) standard. It means providing an excellent experience in the form of web pages that will be immediately available on all platforms and in every channel, thanks to modern browsers and technologies” - says Michał Szklarski.
